Wordless Wednesday~~Pennsylvania lady sitting in chair
Take a short moment and gaze into this lady's eyes and ask yourself what could her life been like, while she was growing up.
If you know the young lady in the image above, send me a note.

Thanks for your comment. I have roughly thirty of these types of "instant" family images, from the original photo album.
I will, as you ask, continue to post these, and other images, for people to review when they visit my site(s).
I wish you well in 2010 and please come back once in awhile.

However, I did located a George W Buttorff who was a photographer in the 1862 timeframe. I suspect he is the photographer and I suspect this gentle lady to have been born in the 1790-1810 time frame.
I researched more on my lady and was able to come up with a probability match. The original post was

Thanks for commenting on my blog and I will certainly continue to visit yours.

I knew the image of my young lady was old but, I did not think if was pre-Civil War. In the very old, torn and dusty photo album, are an additional thirty or more of similar images.
Thanks for you nice comments and insight. I will post additional images as time goes by.
Best wishes and may you have many adventures in 2010.

Maybe someone from the genealogy location you mention could identify the people in the images.
Best wishes,
Jack
